Tristate Technology have many years experience in migrating these types of systems to new modern systems without any code changes to the application. Also legacy network protocols are supported and all operational tasks will be preserved (or greatly simplified).

This process is performed by using cross platform virtualisation software that will emulate the original hardware system on the fly, whilst running on x64 processors, hosted on either Windows or Linux. The systems are supported on physical hosts, most major virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V etc) and also on most Cloud based environments.

Consultancy Services
Tristate provide consultancy to thoroughly review and audit a customers running system and recommend migration solution options. Full consultancy services are also available on various operating systems including OpenVMS, Tru64 Unix and Solaris.

Installation
The emulator can be installed and configured to precisly match the customers requirements and then the customer can migrate their own operating system and application in their own time. This may be the most cost effective approach if the customer has the required technical skills in-house.

Migration
Tristate will provide a full migration service, reconfiguring the operating system if needed and the customer can then just reboot and run on the emulated environment.

Support
Various support service levels are available, from 9 to 5 or full 24×7 services.
